The Port of Larvik is Norway's second largest container port and a major gateway to Europe for freight. Annually, up to 83 000 container units (TEUs) are loaded and unloaded in the port.
Container vessels call weekly at Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Antwerp. The routes are operated by the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Unifeeder.
In recent years the Port of Larvik has won a reputation as an efficient logistics hub on the western side of the Oslo Fjord, with the capacity to handle 200 000 containers within the current port boundaries. Our two gantry container cranes ensure efficient loading and unloading.
The container terminal in Larvik is operated by Larvik Containerterminal AS (LCT).
The company was established in 1999.
Larvik Havn KF operates the container cranes.
